From jazz standards you know and love, to original tunes that will open ears, Basin Street Band will entertain you all night long. With only 3 musicians, Basin Street Band is still able to create a sound that can fill the whole room. Their set includes blues tunes, beautiful ballads, classic songs performed by your favorites(Sinatra, Jobim, Miles Davis), fast bebop, and hard swing. Despite their diverse repertoire, their specialty is cool jazz and west coast jazz with performances inspired by greats such as Chet Baker, Dave Brubeck, Stan Getz, Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans, and many more! Even the standards that they play are originally arranged.
