PETRI DISH: "A Culture Of Groove" - is a duo of Theo Czuk (vocals, guitar, piano) and James Britten (congas, percussion) who play originals and re-imagined covers honed from decades of performing jazz, R&B, rock and blues.
Theo is a critically acclaimed songwriter and an award winning novelist. Growing up entrenched in the grooves of Detroit, Theo has plied his music craft from New York to Los Angeles with a 20 year "one-night-stand" in San Francisco.
James, a percussionist extraordinaire, has played congas, traps and various percussion with many of music's luminaries including George Clinton, Gene Williams (formally with the Platters), Mary Youngblood (Grammy Award Winner) and Lloyd Williams (voice of Otis Day in Animal House).
