Nik Barber is an up-and-coming drummer in the Willamette Valley Area bringing his own blend of break-beat rhythms and jazz influence. Over the past 5 years, Nik has performed several times with some of the region's best acts such as Laundry, Golden Boy, and Inner Limits. As well as being an avid instrumentalist in the Rock/pop diaspora, Nik has received a Bachelor of Jazz Studies from the Renowned University of Oregon School of Music, and has been a part of the Award Winning Oregon Jazz Ensemble during his time at school. Nik has also toured with the Oregon Jazz Ensemble to Italy, France, and Switzerland, playing several esteemed Jazz festivals.

 As a member of the Eugene dream-rock collective Laundry, Nik has been on several tours across the West Coast opening for groups such as Mild High Club, Backseat Lovers, and Ritt Momney. Laundry has also amassed over a million plays on Spotify as well as being part of several press articles and coverages. Now, Nik keeps a busy performance schedule with Laundry and Golden Boy, and will be attending UO's Jazz Studies program in the Fall to attain his Master's Degree in Jazz Studies. Nik brings a refreshing perspective to Jazz, mixing several genres of music that are sure to get people up on their feet and moving!
