Starting in October, PublicHouse will host our second Cinema Series out in the Lawn: Cinema Nights. The first Thursday of each month, October through May, we will be showing a feature film out in our Lawn under our fully-enclosed and heated tent.

Volume 5 of our Cinema Series takes place in New Orleans (seems fitting during this time of the year). It’s the story of an ambitious young lady who dreams of, one day, opening her own restaurant. Everything is derailed when she meets a Prince, turned frog, who mistakes her for a princess and hopes she can break the spell with a kiss.

Curtains up at 6pm! Limited Seating— First Come Basis.

Each week we will invite a different brewery, ciderhouse, distillery or vineyard to host an event prior to sunset. We’ll serve some of their offerings, and once the sun goes down… we’ll be showing our feature film!

For our Volume 8, the final volume in the series…. Ace Cider will be on-site, and we’ll be pouring some of their delicious ciders, including:

• Pumpkin Cider

• Pineapple Cider

The Whisk(e)y Lab will be making up LLOYD’S RELIEF, a specialty cocktail with Rose City Vodka, Luxardo and Red Bull.

Pre-Movie Activity, 7:30pm: Joe from Ace Cider will be doing some raffles and giving away some cool shwag- stop by and say Hello before the feature film.

Feature Film, 7:56pm: For our final week… we are featuring imbecilic best friends who stumble across a suitcase full of money left behind by a beautiful lady who was on her way to the airport. The two friends decide to go to Aspen to return the money… in a giant Dog Van.

Pre-Movie Activity, 6-8pm: Right before our feature film, join us in the lawn for live music with Jay Si Proof and check in with Andrew from Boneyard to see what cool shwag he’s working with.

Feature Film, 8:09pm: For week 7… we are featuring the story of a high school slacker who pretends to be sick (for the 9th time) so he can skip school and have an exciting day in Downtown Chicago with his girlfriend and best buddy… all while trying to outwit the school principal and his sister.

Pre-Movie Activity: Just to get everyone in the spirit of the nights’ film, we’ll be doing some printer smashing (printers donated by Kelley Connect / personal printers welcome / goggles & smashers provided).

We welcome Monkless Belgian Ales for week 2! Come out to hang with the Monkless crew starting at 6pm, and watch Office Space at sunset, around 9pm.

At 8pm, Monkless will lead us in some classic Office Space destruction: printer smashing! To partake in the smashing, please B.Y.O.P. (Bring Your Own Printer).
