Volume 8: This epic film hit theatres in May of 1977, and it ushered in the cultural phenomenon of a franchise that continues today. This story is about a young farmer who joins forces with a Knight, a pilot, a Wookiee and 2 droids to rescue the Princess and save the galaxy from the world-destroying battle station… it’s a tale of heroes, villains and the struggle between good & evil… in a galaxy far, far away…

Volume 7: To celebrate the start of baseball season, we’ve chosen a 1993 classic! This movie takes place in the summer of 1962 when a new kid in town makes friends with a group of kids who play baseball on a local sandlot team. This crew of 12 year olds learn about growing up, making friends and facing your fears. Adventures, schemes, tall fences and massive beasts-- we are stoked to bring this film to our Lawn.

Volume 6 of our Cinema Series takes place once upon a time in a far away swamp, home to an ogre whose life is suddenly turned upside down by an invasion of fairy tale characters banished from their kingdom by an evil Lord. With help from a donkey, this ogre hero must rescue a princess and help the characters save their home.

This 1990 film tells the tale of one young man mistakenly left behind when his entire family leaves for the holidays. When a couple of con men target the residence, the spunky 8 year old must protect the family home.

Volume 2 of this series is just in time for the Day of the Dead. It’s the story of a young dreamer, in desperate hope of becoming an accomplished musician despite his family’s generations-old ban on music. Young Miguel is transported to the beautiful & colorful Land of the Dead where he meets a charming trickster who helps him discover the true story behind his family history. This Pixar animated fantasy film aired in 2017, and we are stoked to bring it to PublicHouse.

Volume 1 of this series will get you in the Halloween Spirit, for sure! It’s a little story about a couple of kids in Salem (Massachusetts), an abandoned house and a coven of ‘evil’ witches who used to live in the house. With the help of one magical cat, these kids must steal a book of spells to stop the witches from becoming immortal. This movie originally aired in 1993, and we’re excited to bring it to PublicHouse.
