Back 2 School: Springfield K-5 Supply Drive

We love the fact that PublicHouse draws so many families, and family is an important part of who we are. We also love our home here in Springfield, and we want to do what we can to help keep our home thriving. In order to help nurture the town we love, we are putting together an Annual Springfield Back 2 School Supply Drive! This year we’re focusing on Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Here’s how it works:

We’ll have our Supply Drive box in the BeerHall starting Friday, August 9. Bring any item(s) from the list below and receive 1 Ticket for the Back 2 School Carnival happening on August 25th (details HERE) and 1 Entry into the PublicHouse Supply Drive Raffle for a chance to win one of several packages including gift certificates for food, beverages and PublicHouse merch. The ticket for the Carnival is good for $1.00 towards any of the Carnival activities, including: BINGO, Dunk Tank, Face Painting, Photo Booth, Backpack Raffle & more (provided by Caught in the Act Entertainment). The Springfield Education Foundation supported the FRCs this year with a $20,000 grant, giving each school a $1000 budget to purchase what they need to support their students. Your donations are sure to go to the schools that need it most!

PublicHouse welcomes Friends of the Children- Lane County

Friends of the Children is dedicated to providing professional mentors for students who possess great potential but also face high levels of risk factors. Since 2020, Friends - Lane County has been serving children and their families in collaboration with the 4J, Bethel, and South Lane School Districts, benefiting 48 young individuals and their families.

Now- they aim to expand their mentoring services into the Springfield Community, and they’ve asked PublicHouse to help bring awareness to their cause— bringing about sustained, long-term change that will fundamentally transform opportunities for children, breaking multigenerational cycles of disadvantage once and for all. Read More HERE

PublicHouse will be donating $1.00 from every beverage sold throughout the evening so your beverage purchase will be directly helping Friends of the Children- Lane County.

Join us at PublicHouse for their kick-off party starting at 6:30pm. Live Music begins at 7pm with Meadow Rue.

Support Camp Fire Relief!

In response to Camp Fire relief efforts, Sierra Nevada brewed Resilience Butte County Proud IPA. They released Resilience on Giving Tuesday, November 27 and are donating 100 percent of the beer sales to the Camp Fire Relief Fund. In addition, they have also asked every brewer in America to brew Resilience and do the same.

They sent a letter to brewers across the country, inviting them to join in this effort. They are working with malt, hop and yeast suppliers to provide raw ingredient donations to all participating breweries and are asking those breweries to donate 100 percent of their sales to the fund, as well.

"We know that the rebuilding process will take time, but we’re in this for the long haul. Our hope is to get Resilience IPA in taprooms all over the country to create a solid start for our community’s future." ... more

Oakshire Brewing jumped on this opportunity and has generously donated one keg to each of our locations: beergarden, Tap and Growler & PublicHouse. Each of our pubs will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Camp Fire relief effort.  Come and support our neighbors in California with a pint of Oakshire's Resilience Butte County Proud IPA on the following dates:

beergarden. Tuesday, December 18.
Tap and Growler. Wednesday, December 19.
PublicHouse. Thursday, December 20.
